Drill Description

The players are divided into three teams of four. Teams A and B play 4 vs. 4 in 25 x 35-yard field on two goals with goalkeepers. The players on Team C position themselves evenly along he two sidelines.

Team A tries to score as many goals as possible, passing among its own players and the wall players. when Team B gets the ball, it tries to keep possession as long as possible and prevent A from scoring, again with the help of the wall players. After a four-minute round and a brief active rest period, Teams A and B switch roles. Which team can score more goals?

After a somewhat longer res period (which may be filled with simple shooting exercises, for example) one of the teams on the field trades places with the extra team.
Coaching Tips

Attackers and wall players are limited to two touches.

Attackers must alternate attacks on Goal 1 and Goal 2.

Attackers may not pass to their goalkeeper.
