Shooting and set plays: 8 versus 8 with special set plays

Drill Description

• A goal with goalkeeper is set up behind the centerline.
• The field is narrowed slighlty and sidelines are marked with cones.
• Two teams of eight.
• 8 versus 8 on two goals with goalkeepers. For each shot on goal, regardless of whether it scores, teh attackers get a corner kick. If the ball goes out of touch, play resumes with a free kick instead of a throw-in.

Coaching Tips

• All players are limited to two or three touches.
• Attackers get two corner kicks for each shot on goal.
• Make the field larger or smaller according to the players' abilities.
