2 vs. 1 finishing
Drill Description
- An extra defender stands in front of each goal.
- The two groups take turns playing.
- Instead of passing, A dribbles to meet B in front of the goal, to create a 2 vs. 1 situation. Both attackers combine to create the scoring chance.
- After five turns for each group, new defenders are chosen.
Coaching Tips
- Using a variety of attacking tactics (clearing space for the player with the ball, overlapping, wall passes, etc.).
- Accurate finishing under pressure.
