Man-making game on two goals
Drill Description

Two teams play 4 v. 4 up to 6 v. 6 on two goals with goalkeepers.

The field size is determined according to team size and players' skill levels.

The smaller the field, the better the players' 1 v. 1 skills must be.

Each player is assigned a player from the other team for "man-marking".
Coaching Tips

Be prepared to start a confident attack immediately if you win the abll.

Bring a combination of determination and intelligence to every 1 v. 1.

Substitute goal lines or small goals without goalkeepers for the large goals.

When the coach gives the signal for "tight marking", all defenders should play even more intensely for a short priod of time.
