Situation 1: Center of the field and the attackers are lined up laterally
Drill Description
- The player with the ball dribbles with speed towards the defender
- About 2 yards prior to the defender the player with the ball passes to his/her teammate
- The teammate dribbles with speed towards goal and tries to finish
Coaching Tips
- If the first player with the ball is being defended head on, he/she can pass the ball to his/her teammate (focus on timing, not too soon and not too late)
